Trying again...

I last blogged back in April, I am aware I have been really bad at not keeping on top on writing my blogs, but here's to trying again. So a summary of what I've been up to whilst being away from here

Since I have last blogged, I have:
  • Been on holiday
  • Read more books
  • Been on a Hen
  • Been a bridesmaid for my amazing friends wedding
  • Booked next year's holiday
We went to Pefkos again in May for a couple of weeks, it was really lovely, we hadn't been away for 2 weeks since our wedding holiday. Alice absolutely adores Rhodes and had an amazing time interacting with our Greek friends, she learnt how to say 'cheers!' and 'hello' in Greek whilst we were there, with the help of our friends. We managed to meet up with our good friends Ray and Viv, whilst we were there, they were lovely enough to make us lunch whilst we caught up with them.
The icing on the cake was that my parents turned up on the second week, totally surprising us, and spent a week out there with us. Alice's face was an absolute picture when she saw Granny and Grandad sat in the pool bar having breakfast.

Granny and Grandad surprised us!

Alice ended up driving the glass bottom boat.

My reading seems to have gone down the pan somewhat and I feel really rubbish at the fact I haven't been reading as much. Since the last book blog I have read:

  • The Little Things by Jane Costello
  • All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher
  • From Lindos With Love by Josephine Kelly
  • Dream A Little Dream by Giovanna Fletcher
  • P.S I Love You by Cecelia Ahern
In June, I went on a Hen party for my friend Jodie, we went away to a little place just outside of Dorchester called Wool. We had a little cottage booked with a hot tub on the veranda, it was lovely because it was so quiet and peaceful around the cottage. Our activities were quad-biking and clay pigeon shooting, completely different to the normal Hen Parties you usually have, but totally us. I was absolutely rubbish at the shooting but the quad-biking was amazing and would really love to do it again. After the activities we went out for a pub dinner and then ended up at "The Legion" being signed in by some complete stranger, who absolutely loved Jodie's Mum, Marilyn ;)

So next came the Wedding of Jodie and Mike, it was a beautiful ceremony at a very beautiful venue. You guys did an amazing job. I was so proud of both Jodie and Mike, we had a brilliant day. The entertainment was spot on, and will remain in our minds for a long long time. Congratulations guys!

Our next big thing is that we are going to Walt Disney World next year, we have so far managed to book flights and accommodation. We are in the stage of a lot of planning, working out which parks to do and when, whether we want to do a character meet and greet breakfast etc. We are so excited to be going, it feels like so long away still but hopefully time will fly.
