I thought today, as it was nice and also a weekday, that it would be nice to take Alice to the beach for the first time. She has previously been on the beach with her Granny and Grandad, but Lucien and I haven't taken her before.
As soon as I put Alice on the sand, she got really excited and started to pick handfuls of sand up. I thought it would be fun to bury her legs in the sand and see what she would do.
After bringing her legs back out from the sand she thought it was amusing, beforehand she looked slightly concerned that she had no legs.
Hmm, just like her Daddy and some other family members, Alice watched and stared to see what other people were doing. She especially loves watching other children and babies.
The beach was nice and quiet with only a few families on holiday or older people out enjoying the sun.
This was looking straight out from where Alice and I were sat.
Also decided to get her own back on me, for burying her legs. She started picking lots a of handfuls of sand and dumping it all on my jeans and picnic rug. This, apparently, was also highly amusing. Which it was, until I came to pack everything away finding sand everywhere.
We came home after an hour down at the beach and I found Alice like this.
She must of had lots of fun down the beach throwing sand around at her Mummy.
